The restricted circular planar \((n+2)\)-body problem (\(n\) primaries and two infinitesimals) is considered. The astronomical interest of the problem comes from the case where the primaries are the Sun and Jupiter and the infinitesimals are asteroids. The partial cases \((2+1)\)- and \((2+2)\)-body problems are investigated from the point of view of an existence of equilibrium points in the rotating coordinate system, their stability and the topology of the constant energy manifold. The analysis of the stability of the equilibrium points of the \((2+2)\)-body problem allowed to find stable binary configurations near the Lagrangian points \(L_4, L_5\) of the restricted three-body problem. An extended study of the orbits by the analysis of the eigenvalues of the linearized system in a neighborhood of the equilibrium points is realized. In particular a stable configuration of a possible binary Trojan asteroid is found.
