Cut and paste contact topological techiques, developed by \textit{K. Honda, W. Kazez} and \textit{G. Matic} [Int. Math. Res. Not. No. 2, 55--88 (2002; Zbl 0992.57008) and J. Differ. Geom. 64, 305--358 (2003; Zbl 1083.53082)], are used to classify some tight contact structures on \(\Sigma_{2}\times I\), where \(\Sigma_{2}\) is a closed, oriented genus-2 surface and \(I\) is an interval. A boundary condition is specified so that the Euler class of the contact structure vanishes on each boundary component. In this case the author proves that there exists a unique non-product tight contact structure.
