The translation-rotation motion of asteroids in a frame of the two-body problem is considered as a model of forming of slowly rotating asteroids. First, the motion of a binary asteroid is considered to be perturbed during fly-byes of the Earth and Venus. Then, it is supposed that the perturbations are so strong that it is possible for the asteroid to be spun at a rate fast enough for the centrifugal accelerations to overcome the gravitational attraction. As a result it is possible for an asteroid to be spun to disruption into two or more distinct bodies. Here, an analysis of such a system is carried out and constraints on the final spin rates of a disrupted binary formed by spinning a single body beyond its disruption limit are found.
