In standard models of multitype population size-dependent branching processes it is assumed that given the size of a generation (say, \(n\)) all individuals of one and the same type belonging to this generation produce children independently of each other and according to one and the same law [see, for instance, \textit{F. C. Klebaner}, J. Appl. Probab. 28, 512--519 (1991; Zbl 0738.60082)]. The present paper generalizes the model by removing the independence assumption and allowing individuals coexisting inside generation \(n\), even those of the same type, to produce with different offspring distributions. Assuming that the reproduction laws of individuals depend on the type composition in the current generation the authors describe conditions under which the number of individuals in the process under consideration either vanishes or tends to infinity as \(n\to\infty,\) and show a number of conditions under which the non-extinction probability of the process equals 1 or is less than 1.
