Lorentzian submanifolds in Lorentzian space form with the same constant curvatures (Q1768252)

It was shown by \textit{M. Brück, X. Du, J. Park} and \textit{C.-L. Terng} [The submanifold geometries associated to Grassmannian systems, Mem. Am. Math. Soc. 735 (2002; Zbl 0998.53037)] that isometric nondegenerate immersions with flat normal bundle of spaces of constant curvature into the space froms of the same curvature are described by solutions to so called Grassmannian systems on symmetric spaces. This approach relates this problem to soliton theory and originates in the paper by \textit{C.-L. Terng} [J. Differ. Geom. 45, No. 2, 407--445 (1997; Zbl 0877.53022)] who considered such immersions of \(n\)-dimensional spaces into \(2n\)-dimensional space forms. In the present paper the analogous program is realized for isometric nondegenerate immersions with flat normal bundle of Lorentzian spaces into Lorentzian space forms with the same constant curvature. Therewith it is reduced to the study of solutions of Lorentzian Grassmannian systems introduced and investigated in this paper.
