The paper deals with two functional equations, the shorter is \[ f(r,s,t)f(u,v,w)+f(r,s,v)f(w,t,u)=f(r,s,u)f(v,w,t)+f(r,s,w)f(t,u,v). \] The variables and the values of \(f\) are assumed to be in a finite dimensional complex vector space, though the results seem to hold also in considerably more general structures.
