Shadowing property of circle maps (Q1769330)

The author gives necessary and sufficient conditions for continuous maps of the circle into itself of type \(2^n\) to have the shadowing property. The proof of the main theorem uses a modification of the main result due to \textit{T. Gedeon} and \textit{M. Kuchta} [Proc. Am. Math. Soc. 115, 271--281 (1992; Zbl 0772.54033)] which gives a condition on continuous maps of the unit interval into itself.
