Consider the minimizer of \[ E_\varepsilon(u,B_1)=\frac1p\int_{B_1}|\nabla u|^p+\frac 1{r\varepsilon^p}\int_{B_1'B_r}(1-|u|^2)^2+\frac 1{4\varepsilon}^p\int_{B_1}|u|^4\tag{1} \] with \(p>2\), on the class of functions \[ W=\{u(x)=f(r)\frac x{|x|}\in W^{1,p}(B_1,R^2); f(1)=1,r=|x|\},\tag{2} \] where \(B_\Gamma\) represents the domains occupied by the normal conducting material. In this paper, under the natural assumptions on the data of (1)--(2) the author presents the location of the zeros of the minimizer (1)--(2) and gives the proof of the \(W^{1,p}\) convergence as \(\varepsilon\to 0\).
