    The author considers the random walk on \(\mathbb{Z}^d\) with the probability to jump from \(z\in \mathbb{Z}^d\) to \(z+e\), \(| e| =1\), giving as follows \[ \omega^\gamma (z, e) = p_0 (e) + \gamma \xi(z, e). \] Here \(p_0\) is the transition probability of a homogeneous random walk, whereas \(\{\xi(z, e)\}_{e: | e| =1;z \in \mathbb{Z}^d}\) are i.i.d. random variables with common law \(\nu\), such that \[ \sum_{e: | e| =1} \xi(z, e) = 0, \quad \nu\text{-almost} \;\text{ surely}. \] The intensity \(\gamma\) of the random perturbation is small. The mean drift of the walk \[ d_0 + \gamma d_1 \;{=} \sum_{e: | e| =1} p_0 (e) e + \gamma \sum_{e: | e| =1} \mathbb{E}_\nu [\xi(0, e)]e \] is supposed to be nonzero. The result of the paper is a statement that for \(\gamma\) small enough, the limiting velocity has the following asymptotic expansion \[ \lim_{n\rightarrow \infty} X_n/n \;{=}\;v^\gamma = d_0 + \gamma d_1 + \gamma^2 d_2 (\gamma) + O(\gamma^{3 - \varepsilon}). \] The proof is based on the auxiliary random walk introduced by \textit{S. A. Kalikov} [Ann. Stat. 9, 753--768 (1981; Zbl 0545.60065)] and on the result of \textit{A.-S. Sznitman} and \textit{M. Zerner} [Ann. Probab. 27, 1851--1869 (1999; Zbl 0965.60100)].
