Bilinear summation formulas from quantum algebra representations (Q1770964)

The paper is devoted to the derivation of two closely related bilinear summation formulas for the Al-Salam and Chihara polynomials, which appear as overlap coefficients of a tensor product involving the quantum algebra. The formulas also involve Askey-Wilson polynomials and little \(q\)-Jacobi functions. As a special case the dual transmutation kernel for little \(q\)-Jacobi functions is identified.
