The author studies positive radial solutions of the following \(p\)-Laplace equation \[ \Delta_p u+K(r)u| u| ^{\sigma-2}=0, \] where \(r=| x| ,\) \(x\in {\mathbb R}^n,\) \(n>p>1,\) \(\sigma=np/(n-p)\) is the Sobolev critical exponent and \(K(r)\) is a function strictly positive and bounded. The author first transforms the equation into a dynamical system using a Fowler transform and then uses Wazewski's principle to construct a stable and an unstable manifold for the system, which allows to remove the technical restriction \(2n/(n+2)\leq p\leq2\), which was by the author used in another paper. The author also introduces a method to prove the existence of ground states with fast decay for potentials \(K(r)\) which oscillate indefinitely.
