The author proposes to measure the global irregularity of a graph \(G\) by the parameter \(\Delta(G)-\delta(G)\) and the local irregularity by the parameter \(\max\{| d(u)-d(v)| :{u,v}\in E(G)\}\) and provides two results concerning their mutual relationship.
