The authors study topological properties of the solution set of the following boundary value problem for degenerate differential inclusions in Banach spaces of the form \[ \frac{dMx(t)}{dt}\in Lx(t)+F(t,Mx(t)), \quad t\in [0,T], \] \[ Mx(0)=y_{0}\in\overline{M(D(L))}, \] where \(F:[0,T]\times E\to 2^{E}\) is a given multimap, \(M\) and \(L\) are single-valued operators on the real separable Banach space \(E\). The proofs are based upon the topological degree theory and the measure of noncompactness. Some particular cases including periodic problems are considered.
