In this paper the authors give a discrete notion of mixed volumes, in particular they define the mixed volume of two finite vector sets. Then they derive the analogous to the Minkowski inequality for mixed volumes of convex bodies and study the dispersion of this inequality. They also introduce the concepts of mixed Cayley-Menger determinant and mixed vertex angles of simplices, extending the classical notions of Cayley-Menger determinant and Bartoš vertex angles, respectively. They show that there is a relationship between these notions and the previously defined concept of mixed volume of two finite vector sets. Using this relationship they establish a series of inequalities and equalities for simplices concerning the mixed Cayley-Merger determinant and the mixed vertex angles. Finally they give a new proof of the inverse forms of the Hadamard inequality and show a series of new results for parallelotopes.
