On a variant of abstract scattering theory in terms of quadratic forms (Q1774451)

The authors formulate a scattering theory in terms of quadratic forms that extends previous work of \textit{V. D. Koshmanenko} [Dokl. Akad. Nauk SSR, 224, 1184--1188 (1975; Zbl 0333.47004); Rep. Math. Phys. 14, 185--206 (1978; Zbl 0434.47015)]. In particular, they refine and generalize the results in these papers and present them in a more convenient way for the study of singular perturbations. They also establish the connection with standard wave operators and consider a variant of the inverse scattering problem in the context of the authors' scattering theory.
