Formality of Donaldson submanifolds (Q1775190)

This paper introduces a concept of an \(s\)-formal minimal model extending the notion of formality. It is shown that an orientable compact manifold of dimension \(2n\) or \(2n-1\) is formal if and only if it is \(n-1\) formal. The authors then consider examples of Donaldson submanifolds of symplectic manifolds to see if they are formal or satisfy the hard Lefschetz property.
