The authors present estimation methods that use auxiliary information when some observations are missing from the sample. Applying the method of ratio, difference and regression estimating methods the authors propose an indirect estimate of total population on the basis of a random sample drawn according to certain sample design. Properties of such estimates are investigated through simulation study. The proposed approach is also modified for the case of random sampling without replacement and for the case of stratified sampling.
