The Laplacian on the level 3 Sierpinski gasket via the method of averages (Q1776611)

Much attention has been paid in recent years to the construction of Laplacians on fractals. In this paper the author proposes a constructive approach to the Laplacian and the associated Dirichlet form on the level 3 Sierpiński gasket via the limit-of-difference-quotients method of \textit{J. Kigami} [Analysis on fractals, Cambridge Univ. Press, Cambridge (2001; Zbl 0998.28004)] combined with the method of averages as applied to the Sierpiński carpet by \textit{S. Kusuoka} and \textit{X. Y. Zhou} [Probab. Theory Related Fields 93, No. 2, 169--196 (1992; Zbl 0767.60076)].
