This is the last in a series of five papers studying compact special Lagrangian submanifolds (SL mfds) in almost Calabi-Yau manifolds (CY mfds) with singularities \(x_1,\dots, x_n\) locally modeled on special Lagrangian cones \(C_1,\dots, C_n\) in \(\mathbb{C}^m\). Let us recall relevant definitions. An almost CY \(m\)-fold is a quadruple \((M,I,\omega,\Omega)\) such that \((M,I)\) is a compact \(m\)-dimensional complex manifold with complex structure \(I\), \(\omega\) is the Kähler form and \(\Omega\) a non-vanishing holomorphic \((m,0)\)-form on \(M\). \((M,I,w,\Omega)\) is CY if in addition \[ {w^m\over m!}= (-1)^{m(m-1)/2}(i/2)^m\Omega\wedge \overline\Omega. \] A real \(m\)-dimensional submanifold \(N\subset M\) is called a special Lagrangian submanifold if \(\omega|_N\equiv \text{Im\,}\Omega|_N\equiv 0\). The first result of the author is the following description of deformations of SL mflds in an almost CY mfd. Theorem. Let \(N\) be a compact SL \(m\)-fold in a CY \(m\)-fold \(M\). Then the moduli space of special Lagrangian deformations of \(N\) is a smooth manifold of dimension \(b^{-1}(N)\), the first Betti number of \(N\). Let us consider now \(M= \mathbb{C}^m\) with the canonical \(I=i\), \(\omega_{st}= {i\over 2}(dz_1\wedge d\overline z_1+\cdots+ dz_m\wedge d\overline z_m)\) and \(\Omega_{st}= dz_1\wedge\cdots\wedge dz_m\). A (singular) SL \(m\)-fold \(C\) in \(\mathbb{C}^m\) is called a cone if \(C= tC\) for all \(t> 0\). In the sequel we shall consider only the case when \(C\) is a closed SL cone with the only singularity at \(0\). Then \(\Sigma= C\cap S^{2m-1}\) is a compact, nonsingular \((m-1)\)-submanifold of \(S^{2m-1}\). An example is due to Harvey and Lawson \((m\geq 3)\): \[ C_{ML}= \{(z_1,\dots, z_m);\;i^{m+1}z_1z_2\cdots z\in [0,+\infty),\;|z_1|=\cdots=|z_m|\}. \] We say that an SL \(m\)-fold \(N\) in a CY \(m\)-fold \(M\) has isolated conical singularity at \(x\in N\) if there exists some SL cone \(C\subset\mathbb{C}^m\) such that \(N\setminus \{x\}\) approaches \(C\setminus \{0\}\) near \(x\) in asymptotic \(C^1\)-sense. For a Harvey-Lawson cone \(\Sigma= C_{HL}\cap S^{2m-1}\) is an \((m-2)\)-torus \(T^{m-2}\). A singularity \(x\in N\) which asymptotically approaches \(C_{ML}\setminus \{0\}\) is called a \(T^{m-1}\)-cone singularity. The main objective of these papers are SL manifolds with isolated conic singularities. First of all the asymptotic behaviour of \(N\) near a conic singularity is described in great detail. This is the subject of the first paper. In the second paper a theorem describing an infinitesimal deformation space of the SL \(m\)-fold with conical singularities is given. In the third paper a theorem is proved about the possibility to desingularize a SL \(m\)-fold with conical singularities by SL deformations. In the fourth paper a number of global properties of the moduli space \(U_N\) of SL deformations of \(N\) are described. The new part of the last fifth paper deals with SL 3-folds having \(T^2\)-cone singularities. The cases of \(N\) having exactly one and two \(T^2\)-cone singularities are treated in details. The author explains his interest in deformations of SL manifolds with conic singularities at the end of the paper by the Strøminger-Yau-Zaslov conjecture which relates mirror symmetry by a CY manifolds to the possibility to represent CY 3-fold as a total space of bifurcation by SL 3-folds with at most conic singularities.
