Let \(\{ u_n\} \) be a fundamental functions system of the Laplace operator in \(L^2(\Omega )\), \(\Omega \subset \mathbb R^N\), \(N\geq 2\), and let \(\{ v_n\} \) be a dual fundamental functions system. Suppose that the functions \(v_n\) satisfy the Helmholtz equation \(\Delta u_n + \lambda_n u_n =0\) in the domain \(\Omega \) with the same coefficients \(\lambda_m \) as \(u_m\). For \(\varphi \) from some Sobolev-Liouville class define \(E^s_\lambda \varphi =\sum \{ (1-\lambda_m /\lambda )^s (\varphi,v_m)u_m; \lambda_m< \lambda \} \). It is shown that \(E^s_\lambda \varphi \to \varphi \) locally uniformly as \(\lambda \to +\infty \).
