The Cauchy problem associated to a Euler-Poisson-Darboux equation in a Banach space is considered. It was proved by \textit{S. A. Vorob'eva} and \textit{A. V. Glushak} [Differ. Uravn. 37, No. 5, 743--746 (2001); translation from Differ. Uravn. 37, No. 5, 706--709 (2001; Zbl 1001.34048)] that the problem \[ u''(t)+(p/t)u'(t)=Au(t)\tag{1} \] is well-posed for some nonnegative \(p\) and for some linear closed operator \(A\) [see, e.g., \textit{A. V. Glushak}, Dokl.. Math. 55, No. 1, 103--105 (1997); translation from Dokl. Akad. Nauk, Ross. Akad. Nauk 352, No. 5, 587--589 (1997; Zbl 0965.34052)]. In this case, problem (1) has an unique solution depending continuously on the initial data. In the present paper, the author establishes relationships among solutions of equations containing powers of the unbounded operator \(A\), derives integral representations of the solutions of these equations, and finally, a quasi-inversion method for a first-order differential equation in a Banach space is given.
