      The author considers the following system of differential equations \[ \dot n_i= \sum^N_{j,k,l=1} \sigma^{ij}_{kl}(n_k n_l- n_i n_j),\quad i= 1,\dots, N,\tag{1} \] where the constants \(\sigma^{ij}_{kl}\) satisfy the conditions \(\sigma^{ij}_{kl}\geq 0\), \(\sigma^{ij}_{kl}= \sigma^{kl}_{ij}\) and \(\sigma^{ij}_{kl}= \sigma^{ji}_{kl}\), \(\sigma^{ii}_{kl}= 0\). Let \(K= \{n_1\geq 0,\dots, n_N\geq 0\}\), \(L\) -- the space of solutions of the algebraic equations \[ x_i+ x_j- x_k- x_l= 0 \] and \(M\) the orthogonal complement of \(L\), i.e., \(\mathbb{R}^N= L\oplus M\). The author proves that for each \(x\in L\), there exists a unique singular point of (1) in the set \[ (x+ M)\cap\text{int\,}K. \] It follows that (1) is asymptotically equivalent to its reduced system on the cone \(K\).
