It is shown that for an approximate homomorphism \(f: J \to B\) of a JB*-triple \(J\) into a JB*-triple \(B\), there exists a unique *-homomorphism \(H: J \to B\) near the approximate homomorphism. A faithful copy of this proof has appeared in the author's paper [J.~Lie Theory 15, No.~2, 393--414 (2005; Zbl 1091.39006)] and its verbatim copy [Bull.\ Braz.\ Math.\ Soc.\ (N.S.) 36, No.~1, 79--97 (2005; Zbl 1091.39007)].
