Continuing their work [Linear Algebra Appl.\ 372, 1--31 (2003; Zbl 1046.47016)] on a moment problem for rational matrix-valued functions, the authors characterize the case in which the problem has a unique solution. Several related results are also proved, notably some results on inverse problems for rational matrix-valued functions.
