Consider the delayed neutral differential equation \[ \sum^p_{i=0} a_i x^{(i)}(t)+ \sum^m_{j=1} \sum^p_{i=0} b_{ij} x^{(r)}(t-h_{ij}) =f(t),\tag{*} \] where \(f\in C^1 (R,R)\) is periodic with period \(2T\), \(b_{ij}\geq 0\), \(a_p=1\). The author establishes the existence of periodic solutions of (*) by means of the method of Fourier series and inequality techniques.
