Let \((L,(p_i)_{i\in I})\) be a limit of a functor \(F:{\mathcal D}\to {\mathcal A}\). A functor \(J:{\mathcal A}\to{\mathcal S}et\) is said to epi-preserve (mono-preserve) \(L\) if the canonical mapping \(\rho: J(L)\to\) lim \(JF\) is surjective (resp. injective). It is proved that for a small category \(\mathcal D\), if \(-\otimes(G\)wr\(H\)) epi-preserves (mono-preserves) \(\mathcal D\)-limits, then \(-\otimes G\) epi-preserves (resp. mono-preserves) \(\mathcal D\)-limits. Moreover, if \(-\otimes(G\)wr\(H)\) epi-preserves (mono-preserves) \(\mathcal D\)-limits of representables, then both \(-\otimes G\) and \(-\otimes H\) epi-preserve (resp mono-preserve) \(\mathcal D\)-limits of representables. A set-valued functor from a small category is called flat (pullback-flat) if the functor of tensor multiplication by it preserves all finite limits (resp. all pullbacks). Necessary and sufficient conditions for the functor \(G\)wr\(H\) to be flat or pullback flat are given.
