A uniform balanced configuration of \(m\) plane real vectors is defined by the property that determinants of all pairs are \(\not= 0\) and lie symmetric with respect to the origin. By elementary but nontrivial linear algebra the author proves that for odd \(m\) such uniform balanced configurations form regular \(m\)-gons, up to linear transformations. The result answers a question related to hypergeometric functions in several variables.
