Small amplitude periodic solutions are constructed for the nonlinear wave equation \(u_{tt}-u_{xx}=\phi(u)\), \(u(0,t)=u(\pi,t)=0\) with \(\phi(u)=\Phi u^3+O(u^5)\) odd and analytic. The Lebesgue measure of the set of frequencies of found periodic solutions is close to 1. The Lyapunov-Schmidt method is used in combination of controling the small divisors.
