The paper is concerned with iterative methods based on standard or block Golub-Kahan-type bidiagonalization, combined with Tikhonov regularization, to the restoration of a multi-channel image from an available blur- and noise-contaminated version. The authors propose to use the standard version of the Golub-Kahan algorithm without restarts for all right-hand sides, combined with Tikhonov regularization for avoiding sever error propagation. Numerical experiments are also presented.
