A Hadamard space is a complete simply-connected manifold with non-positive sectional curvature. The authors consider isometric immersions \( f : M \rightarrow \tilde{M}\), where \(M\) is a \(k\)-dimensional Riemannian manifold with (possibly nonempty) boundary \( \partial M\) and \(\tilde{M}\) is a \(n\)-dimensional Hadamard space. In this context, they improve a Hardy inequality of Carron and obtain Rellich-like inequalities. Geometric applications are provided, including an inequality for the first eigenvalue of the Laplacian of (a compact) \(M\).
