The paper deals with the asymptotic behavior of positive solutions to fully nonlinear elliptic equations in the unit ball \(B\) in \(\mathbb{R}^n.\) Precisely, the authors consider radial solutions of the Dirichlet problem \[ \begin{cases} -F(D^2u)=u^p & \text{in}\;B,\\ u=0 & \text{on}\;\partial B, \end{cases} \] where \(F\) is either the maximal or the minimal Pucci operator. It is shown that the solutions concentrate and blow up at the center of the ball when \(p\) approaches a critical value depending on \(n\) and \(F\), while a suitably associated energy remains invariant.
