By the result of \textit{H.A. Helfgott}, it is known that the average root number of an elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}[T]\) is zero if there is a place of multiplicative reduction over \(\mathbb{Q}[T]\) other than \(-\mathrm{deg}\) [``On the behaviour of root numbers in families of elliptic curves'', Preprint, \url{arXiv:0408141}]. On the other hand, there has been little work dealing with the case where an elliptic curve over \(\mathbb{Q}[T]\) has no place of multiplicative reduction over \(\mathbb{Q}[T]\) other than \(-\mathrm{deg}\). Examples of a family of elliptic curves whose average root number is non-zero is already known but in [\textit{S. Bettin} et al., ``Families of elliptic curves with the non-zero average root number'', Preprint], the authors present a systematic approach to describing families of elliptic curves defined over Q whose average root number is not zero. In this paper, the author gives the detailed computation for one of the families listed in that preprint and actually shows that this family has often the non-zero average root number.
