A Kähler metric \(g\) on a complex manifold \(M\) is said to be projectively induced if there exists a Kähler immersion of \((M,g)\) into the complex projective space \((\mathbb CP^N,g_{_{FS}})\), endowed with the Fubini-Study metric. If \((L,h)\) is a Hermitian line bundle over \(M\) whose Ricci curvature \(\text{Ric}_{h}\) equals \(\omega\), and \(L^m=L^{\otimes m}\) is the holomorphic line bundle, for every positive integer \(m\), endowed with the Hermitian metric \(h_m\) induced on \(L^m\) by \(h\) such that \(\text{Ric}_{h_m}=m\omega\), then \({\mathcal{K}}_m\) is the separable complex Hilbert space consisting of global holomorphic sections of \(L^m\) such that \(\langle s,s\rangle=\int_Mh_m(s,s)\frac{\omega^n}{n!}<\infty\). If \(s_j\), \(j=0,\dots,N_m\), is an orthonormal basis of \({\mathcal{K}}_m\) with \(\dim{\mathcal{K}}_m=N_m+1\leq\infty\), then the smooth function \(\varepsilon_{mg}(x)=\sum\limits_{j=0}^{N_m}h_m(s_j(x),s_j(x))\) is globally defined on \(M\) and it does not depend on the orthonormal basis or the Hermitian metric chosen. This function, also known as distortion function or Bergman kernel, constitutes a tool to evaluate how a Kähler metric differs from being projectively induced. There is a complete asymptotic expansion \(\varepsilon_{mg}(x)\sim\sum\limits_{j=0}^{\infty}a_j(x)m^{n-j}\) for the distortion function related to any polarized metric defined on compact complex manifolds which is called Tian-Yau-Zelditch (TYZ). TYZ means that there exists a positive constant \(C_{l,r}\) depending on two positive integer constants \(l\) and \(r\) such that \(\|\varepsilon_{mg}(x)-\sum\limits_{j=0}^{\infty}a_j(x)m^{n-j}\|\leq\frac{C_{l,r}}{m^{l+1}}\), where \(a_0(x)=1\) and \(a_j(x)\) are smooth functions on \(M\). In [Am. J. Math. 122, No. 2, 235--273 (2000; Zbl 0972.53042)], \textit{Z. Lu} computed the first three TYZ coefficients. Kähler metrics admitting a Kähler potential which depends only on the sum \(|z|^2=|z_1|^2+\dots+|z_n|^2\) of the moduli of a local coordinates system \(z_i\) are radial Kähler metrics. In this paper, the authors classify radial scalar flat metrics with constant third coefficient of its TYZ expansion. They show that the third TYZ coefficient \(a_3\) of a radial Kähler metric with constant scalar curvature is constant if and only if the second TYZ coefficient \(a_2\) is constant. Also, it is shown that the flat metric and the Simanca metric are the only radial projectively induced metrics with \(a_1=a_3=0\).
