Painlevé equations have solutions called ``tronquée'' and ``tritronquée'' which are solutions that have pole-free sectors (while generic solutions have poles accumulating at \(\infty\) in all sectors). ``Recently in a paper by Lin, Dai and Tibboel, it was shown that the third and fourth Painlevé equations have tronquée and tritronquée solutions.'' Such solutions can be investigated by Borel summation technique. Using it the authors find regions of analyticity and asymptotic position of poles for tronquée and tritronquée solutions of the third and fourth Painlevé equations.
