This article is devoted to the construction of motives associated to Feynman graphs \(\Gamma\). It is proved that the Feynman quadrics-motive of the massive sunset graph is ``generic'' not mixed-Tate. There exist at least two main difference approach in this problem. One approach is based on an explicit description of the parametric Feynman integral in terms of (open) elliptic curves. This approach is only valid when the spacetime dimension \(D\) is equal to 2 or 4. In contrast, the author's approach is based on an explicit description of the Chow motives of complete intersections of two and three quadric hypersurfaces. This approach is valid for any spacetime dimension.
