Solution methods for systems of nonlinear equations are of great interest. This interesting monograph considers mainly the so-called simplicial methods. A number of simplicial algorithms on the n- dimensional unit simplex and on the product space of a finite number of unit simplices (the so-called simplotopes) are presented and compared. The monograph is subdivided into four parts. Part I deals with the basic theory concerning simplicial methods on the unit simplex and the simplotope. Part II includes simplicial variable dimension restart algorithms on the unit simplex. Part III deals with simplicial algorithms on the simplotope. Part IV introduces the continuous deformation algorithm on the simplotope.
