On the dynamics of a family of meromorphic functions (Q1801746)

The author discusses some aspects of the bifurcation diagram relating to the dynamics of the family of maps \(z\to\lambda\tan z\), where \(\lambda\) is a complex parameter. He shows that, for example, any two maps with \(\lambda>1\) are quasiconformally conjugate. Moreover, he discusses the maximal domain in the \(\lambda\)-plane which contains \((1,\infty)\) and in which pairs of maps remain quasiconformally conjugate.
