A spectrum \(X\) is said to be a Wood (resp. Anderson) spectrum if there is a \(KO\)-module equivalence from \(KU\) (resp. \(KC)\) to \(KO\wedge X\), where \(KC\) is the self-conjugate \(K\)-theory. In this paper the author determines the \(K_ *\)-local types of a Wood, an Anderson spectrum and \(\Sigma^ 1 RP^ n\). [The reviewer with \textit{S. Oka} and \textit{M. Yasuo}, \(K\)-theory and the homotopy types of some function spaces, Contemp. Math. 146, 309-338 (1993)].
