Two approaches concerning the generation of measures on the space of lines in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\) are considered: 1. in terms of so-called systems of plates (i.e. bounded convex plane sets in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\)) 2. by means of linearly additive continuous pseudometrics in \(\mathbb{R}^ 3\).
