This is a short paper where the author considers the problem of solving a variational inequality involving a linear operation and a convex set. The algorithm consists in computing at each iteration the projection of an affine function of the point. The stability of the solution with respect to the convex set (using the Painlevé-Kuratowski's notion topology) is discussed.
