The invariant factors of matrices whose entries are power series holomorphic near zero in a variable \(\lambda\) are given by a sequence \(\lambda^{\gamma_ n}| \lambda^{\gamma_ n- 1}|\cdots| \lambda^{\gamma_ 1}\) of powers of \(\lambda\). This paper deals with the relations between the invariant factors of a product and those of the factors. It obtains new symmetries and reduction principles, and a complete set of relations involving triplets.
