The paper addresses a problem of numerical calculation in the realm of approximation of multivariate rational functions by special multivariate Padé approximants (the homogeneous type) The writers succeed in generalizing the basic tool to study the phenomenon of pole-zero doublets, first studied by \textit{M. Froissart} [RCP, Programme No. 25, Vol. 9 (CNRS, Strasbourg), 1-13 (1969)] and for rational functions \textit{by J. Gilewicz} and \textit{M. Pindor} [J. Comput. Appl. Math. 105, 285-297 (1999)]. The problem arises in the approximation of functions with uniformly distributed random noise added to the Taylor series coefficients. The paper can be seen as a first step to understand the underlying Froissart-type multivariate polynomial that governs the phenomenon. The analysis given reproduces the univariate results by `projecting' on the axes (under the condition that the noise is added after projection).
