Given a finite family of measurable spaces \(\mathcal{M}\) and a weight system \(\omega\) on \(\mathcal{M}\), the authors define a weighted value with respect to \(\omega\), denoted by \(\Psi^\omega\). If the weight system \(\omega\) is a weight function, the weighted value \(\Psi^\omega\) coincides with the asymptotic weighted value defined by \textit{S. Hart} and \textit{D. Monderer} [Math. Oper. Res. 22, 619-630 (1997; Zbl 0887.90189)]. Following and generalizing the approach of E. Kalai and D. Samet [in: \textit{A. E. Roth}, The Shapley value, Cambridge University Press, Cambridge (1989; Zbl 0708.90098)], they then axiomatically define the notion of an \textit{\(\mathcal{M}\)-value}. The main result of the paper is that being an \(\mathcal{M}\)-value on the set of monotonic, non-atomic games is equivalent to being a weighted value \(\Psi^\omega\) for some weight system \(\omega\) on \(\mathcal{M}\).
