The author determines the uniform cofiniteness of their sets of periods. This approach is based on the strong topological properties of expanding maps on flat manifolds. The point of departure for the author is the paper of \textit{B. Jiang} and \textit{J. Llibre} [Discrete Contin. Dyn. Syst. 4, 301-320 (1998; Zbl 0965.37019)], where the authors studied the sets of periods for generic continuous maps of the \(n\)-torus with a similar result in the expanding case.
