The author describes an algorithm for constructing orthogonal grids on regions topologically equivalent to an annulus. A complex polynomial mapping allow to approximate the whole region to be gridded instead of the classical methods with one to one parametrization. The orthogonality of grid lines is easily dealt with conformal mapping properties. A generalization to 3D is suggested.
