    Let \({\mathcal R}\) be a commutative Noetherian domain and let \((A, B)\) be a discrete-time linear time-invariant system with \(m\) inputs and \(n\) outputs. The known notion of (static) feedback \((A,B)\)-invariance is generalized to that of dynamic feedback \((A,B)\)-invariance. Let \(A^{e}\) be the matrix with \(A\) and \(0_{q \times q}\) on the main diagonal and zeros elsewhere and let \(B^{e}\) be the \(q \times q\) matrix with \(B\) and \(I_{q \times q}\) on the main diagonal and zeros elsewhere. A submodule \(\psi\) of \(X\) \((:= {\mathcal R} ^ n)\) is said to be dynamic feedback \((A,B)\)-invariant if there exist an integer \(q\) \((\geq 0)\), a submodule \(\psi ^ {e}\) of \(X ^ {e} := X \bigoplus W\) \((W := {\mathcal R}^ {q})\) and a matrix \(F^{e} \in {\mathcal R} ^{(m+q) \times (n + q)}\) such that \(\psi = P\psi ^{e}\) and \((A^{e} + B^{e}F^{e})\psi^{e} \subset \psi^{e},\) where \(P\) denotes the projection matrix from \(X^{e}\) onto \(X\) along \(W\). It is then shown that dynamic feedback \((A,B)\)-invariance is equivalent to the known notion of \((A,B)\)-invariance. Dynamic \((A,B)\)-invariance is also characterized from the system theoretic point of view.
