Elliptic Gaudin model is a degenerate case of \(XYZ\) integrable spin chain (see \textit{M. Gaudin}, The Bethe wave function (in French). Paris etc.: Masson (1983; Zbl 0509.60093)]). For this model a separation of variables is constructed in the classical and quantum cases. In the classical case the separated coordinates are obtained as the poles of a suitably normalized Baker-Akhiezer function. In the quantum case the kernel of the separating integral operator is constructed.
