      The theory of scale relativity is applied to the equations of rotational motion of solid bodies. The author predicts that the obliquities and inclinations of planets and satellites in the solar system may be quantized, and obtains the solution of the corresponding generalized Schrödinger equation in the simplest case. The peaks in the observed distribution of both obliquities and inclinations of planets and satellites in the solar system agree well with the predicted periodicity of the equation. The results allow to explain the value \(23.45^\circ\) of the Earth obliquity and obliquities of other planets. The theory confirms that the Earth obliquity can be stabilized around \(25^\circ\). The theory also predicts that, most likely, a large number of Earth-like planets exist in the Universe, and predicts that around solar-type stars, the orbits will always have a semi-major axis of \(\approx 1\) AU and be nearly circular, and that their obliquities can be circa \(25^\circ\) with a high probability.
