The authors generalized the \textit{H. Berens} and \textit{G. G. Lorentz} result [Math. J., Indiana Univ. 21, 693-708 (1972; Zbl 0262.41006)]. The direct part of the proved theorem, as a special case (for Bernstein polynomials), reduce to the result of \textit{Z. Ditzian} [J. Approximation Theory 79, No. 1, 165-166 (1994; Zbl 0814.41005)].
