Consider a so-called \((n,k)\)-quadric \(M:=\{(z,w)\in\mathbb C^{n+k}\mid (zA_1\overline z^t,\dots,zA_k\overline z^t)=\Im w\}\) where \(A_1,A_2,\dots,A_k\in\mathbb C^{n\times n}\) are linearly independent Hermitian matrices with the property that \(\bigcap_{1\leq j\leq k}\text{Ker }A_j=\{0\}\). \(M\) is homogeneous with respect to the affine transformations \[ (z,w)\mapsto (z+z_0,w+w_0+2i(zA_1\overline z_0^t,\dots,zA_k\overline z_0^t)), \quad (z_0,w_0)\in M. \] Let \(I\) denote the group of all automorphisms of \(M\) with the origin as fixed point. The Lie algebra \(g\) of \(I\) admits a natural grading \(g=g_0\oplus g_1\oplus g_2\), where \(g_0\) corresponds to the subgroup of linear transformations in \(I\). For \(3\leq k\leq n^2-3\) it is known that generically \(\dim g= \dim g_0=2\). The author constructs (all) examples of \((n,3)\)-quadrics where \(\dim g_1>2n\) and \(\dim g_2>3\). Moreover it is shown that \(\dim g_1\leq 8\) for all \((4,3)\)-quadrics. For related results see \textit{V. K. Beloshapka} [Russ. J. Math. Phys. 4, 393-396 (1996; Zbl 0910.32015)], \textit{V.
